In JSM, how to share with other customers but disable sharing with organization ?

Frédéric Batteux February 5, 2025

I have created 'customer' accesses in our JSM instance for all people in my company and to enable each customer user to search for other customers and choose who they want to share their request with, I added all customers in an organization abd I added sharing with the organization.

Each customer can then find another customer and share with him. It's ok.
But... the option to share with the whole organization is displayed and I don't find a way to deactivate it while keeping the sharing with individual people, with the ease to search other customers in the drop down.

Is there a way to do that ?

Hi @Frédéric Batteux welcome to the community.  At this time there isn't a way to disable sharing with the entire organization.  There are a few issues submitted to Atlassian regarding this issue.

JSDCLOUD-15131

JSDCLOUD-10908

JSDCLOUD-10455

JSDCLOUD-7057

Hope that helps.

thank you @Dan Breyen
This doesn't give me a solution but at least it's clear... Hope it will be implemented soon !

Sorry.  I have the same situation with my JSM instance. I'm strongly suggesting to my customers that they avoid using that box and going into the Portal after they create their issue and share it with individuals within their organization.

I'm waiting for those tickets to get resolved too!
