I'm looking for suggestions or a suitable method to improve the process of onboarding new clients. Currently, we utilise onboarding forms within Jira Support, but we've noticed that clients can sometimes feel overwhelmed by the number of tasks they need to complete. Even though we can't remove them or skip them, we want our clients to have a clear view of what's required.
Ideally, I'd like to provide clients with a way to track the progress of these tasks, so they can see what's been completed and what's still outstanding.
Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated

I'm a Product Marketing Manager for izi LMS for Confluence. You mentioned that you'd like your clients to be able to track the progress on the onboarding tasks.
Some of these tasks may require a lot of reading. If you have a Knowledge Base within Confluence izi LMS might be a great help cause it allows to create courses and quizzes right in Confluence. You would be able to use your existing Confluence pages and make the onboarding process even more hassle-free. Progress tracking within the app is also included.

I forgot to mention that our clients do not have and we don't want them to have access to JIRA, but for now I will use your suggestions and apply what we can accordingly.
