Is it possible to import customer data like employee ID, phone number, etc. with AD or other means to JSM and have it displayed in the ticket (agent) view and on the portal request view ?
Hi @dev-env2-admin-5
According to my knowledge, displaying user attributes from AD is only possible when using 3 party add-ons. If you store your user data in Azure Active Directory - Azure AD Attributes the plugin developed by my team, can help.
In just a few easy steps it lets you copy users' data from Azure AD and display them in a dedicated panel on request and issues view, copy them to custom fields which can be further used to write JQL filters or generate reports and more.
If that sounds interesting - feel free to book a demo session with our team. We will be happy to assist with the configuration.
Best regards,
Kasia from Deviniti
Hello @dev-env2-admin-5 - nice to meet you 👋🏻
If you’re open to use a third-party app I would like to recommend a powerful and cost-effective solution - Mindpro Sync - User Attributes from OKTA, Azure & OneLogin
This app allows you to integrate with identity providers like Okta, Azure AD, and OneLogin to display user attributes inside Jira and JSM issues (and Portal).
Additionally you can:
This app has a 30-day free trial version with full support and onboarding assistance included. If you want, we'd love to offer you a live demo where you can talk about your specific needs.
Hope it helps, Eduardo, from Mindpro team
