I would like to inform you about my requests and issues regarding Jira software. In our company, we are using the following versions of Jira:
Jira Service Management 4.18.2
Jira Software 8.18.2
Based on our specific needs, we have realized that these versions lack certain features that we require. Therefore, we request that if the following issues exist in higher versions of Jira, please inform us:
Organizational Chart Alignment: In version 4.18.2, if any changes occur in the organization's structure and titles, the changes need to be manually adjusted. We need to implement the organizational chart in Jira to make processes and movements more manageable and adaptable to organizational changes.
Reporting and Comparative Charts: The current version we are using lacks comprehensive reporting charts and Excel reports. We need improved capabilities for reporting and creating comparative charts in higher versions, so that we can have a more comprehensive and accurate understanding of project performance and activities.
Documentation Needs: We require access to comprehensive and clear documentation on how to use Jira software, so that we can make better use of its features and capabilities and independently resolve issues.
Lack of Notification System: The current version does not have a system for sending notifications to users when customer SLAs are breached to complete tickets. We need this functionality to be improved in newer versions, so that we can automatically and simultaneously track elapsed times.
Do we have the ability to update in the current version? And if we update, will the existing data be deleted?

Organizational Chart Alignment: There are apps that you can use to help keep this in sync with your identity management system. The capabilities and the one you choose will be based on there that information is housed and how it can be accessed.
Reporting and Comparative Charts: You can make quiet a few reports using Jira dashboard and filters. If you need more comprehensive reporting you will need to connect it to and external system or get an app from the app store.
Documentation Needs: Atlassian has great documentation. You can use the help "?" in the upper right hand corner to get to it. They also offer free trainings and paid trainings in the Atlassian university.
Lack of Notification System: You can use Jira automations to augment the built in notifications. You can easily create custom notifications based on lots of different triggers. A great place to learn about them is in the automation playground.
