in a service management project i am required to send a notification after each confirmation, in automation i can only send notifications when a process starts or ends but not when the process is in progress of confirmation
Notifications are sent, out of the box, within the issue type's workflow, using the event. You can create you own events as well, which you have to later change within the workflows. These event are visible to every notification scheme, which you should user to send out notifications to the stakeholders, or to whomever you think deserves to be notified. Read more here:
