I want to add a custom field as a smart value in a notification send by mail and I've tried different things and none worked.
This custom field´s name is Business Impact and it's a text paragraph custom field type,

No, you cannot add custom fields into the standard notification template that gets sent. There’s an open request for that, but you would need to create an automation rule to send a separate email if you want to have custom fields

Please show us the full Automation rule and exactly what you have tried. Sometimes things don't work because of the current context and the point in the rule where an action occurs, so seeing the complete rule is very important.
Also please show us the Audit Log details for the execution of the rule for each variation where you tried something and it didn't work.
