I'd like to get historical data view for tickets per client. Our JIRA project was setup with custom fields where we put in the client name. However, there are 2 separate custom fields wecreated with the same set of client names but diff purpose. One is a dropdown for single select and the other is for multi select. Is there a way to get the historical view of tickets, with like the dates/ticket#/request types per client name?

Jira Service Management offers the ability to create custom reports such as the one you're describing:

You can create filters in your report series using JQL, and then apply ranges of dates according to your needs.

Welcome to the community. To supplement what @Camilo Galleguillos stated, you can also conduct an filter search and expose those two custom fields in the JQL results columns setup. From there, you can obtain those data. Out of the box, you can also just export the results to an CSV file and use Excel to generate your reports.
