Im administrating both Jira Service management and Jira Work management.
Jira Work management. Has very interesting option to make subtask as a part of task - > how to make it look and function the same on Jira Service management.
JSM is making subtask as a separate card witch clutters the view
Hi @Borys Piasny ,
Can you be more specific?
JSM works with queues, not with boards, so where is the left screenshot taken?
Left side of he picture is JSM board, right side of the picture is JWM. You can make a custom canban board in JSM
In the list view has the same problem. The subtasks are nicely pinned under the task in JWM and stand alone task in JSM

Ok, but the JSM Kanban board's location is another project and not the JSM project.
Anyway, it is just a JSW Kanban board, which behaves differently then a JWM board.
You can use Board settings > swimlanes to keep parent and children together. Like this:
Without swimlanes, it looks like this:

The short answer is you can only get that expand/collapse subtasks functionality in a JWM project with the board that is natively created for it. That is not available for manually created Agile boards (boards that are based on Jira Software product functionality).

Thanks, this helps.
Ill use swim lines then.
Its a shame Jira service does not have this basic option.
