Hi,
I have a project that has 2 fields - 'due date' and 'finish date'
The 'due date' is defined by the customer and shows the last date for the task
and the 'finish date' is to update them when there is a delay to finish the task
The finish date field is hidden so I created an automation rule that sends updates by email when the 'finish date' is changed.
My question is possible to use automation to reveal (on the portal side) the hidden field when I change the value?
Hi @Iris Ayelin - Not natively, but you could make a tweak to your workflow where it gets dynamically presented on the portal...
Instead of filling out the Finish Date as a Jira field on your screen, you could capture the date on a form that is completed by the agent and linked back to the Finish Date in Jira. When the agent submits the form, they can make it external facing and the portal user gains visibility.
