I have used "Multilevel Select for Jira" plugin for creating multilevel field in JSM and now I need to add it on the portal, but when I added it in request types it's showing hidden by default. Please advise how to make it unhide to show on service portal.
Hi @Ritika Lokesh Abhichandani
I'm from Appsvio - vendor who develops Multilevel Select for Jira. You have to go to the global configuration > Apps > Multilevel Select and make an authentication using token.
In case of any problems, please create a request on our customer portal: https://appsvio.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/3.

Hi,
Thanks for the support, but I have already created and configured authentication token. Still the cascading field is not visible on customer service portal. Attaching screenshot.
Are there any limitations of this plugin that the multilevel cascading field will not be visible on Customer Service Portal in JSM?.

No, there are no limitations. If you have a correct token, everything should work. In the configuration of request form, this field will be still marked as "hidden" but don't worry - it will be available to your customers.
Could you please create a ticket on our customer portal: https://appsvio.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/3? If you encounter some problems, we need to investigate it.

Hello @Ritika Lokesh Abhichandani ,
There is no need for adding a plugin. You can make use of forms to have show/hide field functionality on your request types. Here is the documentation which can help you.

@Vijay Dadi, Forms don't provide multi-level cascading fields. Creating multilevel field is only possible with app.

If I am not wrong @Ritika Lokesh Abhichandani 's question is about hiding the specific field depending on previous field selection not about cascading fields.
@Ritika Lokesh Abhichandani - Correct me if i am wrong.
