How to show to the customer a filed compiled by the agent

Hi all,

I would like to have a field that is not compiled by the customer, but by the agent. Once the agent compiles it should be great to show it to the customer inside his portal (such as the "status" or the "request type").

Is there a way to achieve this?

Not natively - there is a feature request for this though - see: JSDCLOUD-4328 

Alternatives are...

• Apps: Look for an App which can do this - for example, Extension for Jira Service Management 
• Automation: Use Automation to send the field data to the customer via a comment, when it is populated. For example...
  • Trigger: Field Value Changed
  • Action: Comment on Issue - add field value using smart values
