In Asset and configuration management, I've created a custom Object Schema. I am trying to select objects from a different Object Schema, but it is locked, and I unable to select it as it is a System-defined schema.
In the screenshot below, I've created the Document Management System custom object schema, within it I've created some objects and would like to reference some objects from the Services schema but there's no option.
Is there a way to do this or it is just a limitation?
Hi @Paul Diu
Not sure how did you implement that - referencing Services object in a custom schema. Here is what I would do for your reference
1. Go to DMS schema
2. Click Attributes of an object type
3. Add an Attribute give it a name eg Service in my test; Choose Object type, type value and additional value(optional)
Then you should be good to get below as the test result:
Hi Zoey,
Thanks so much for your answer.
It worked like a charm.
For some reason when I tried your suggestion, the Services was not showing up as an option.
Kind regards,
Paul

Hi @Paul Diu
Can you show me what you have seen so far? I.e. the Services not showing as an option

Below is what I can see. When I did it before, I couldn't see Services > Service as an option. That's why I submitted this question. But it seems to work now so I'm not sure if I was just blind or something changed that allowed me to select it now.
