How to get all the comments for a project

I am using jiraone python package and wondering if there is a way to get all comments which were updated/added in the last few days and need some suggestions.

 

At first, I thought the change log will give me everything that I need when I use like 

jql = "project in (XYZ) AND updatedDate >= 2023-03-29 order by created DESC "
PROJECT.change_log(jql=jql)

But it is not and I'm confused why.

 

Then, I tried 

 

PROJECT.get_total_comments_on_issues(jql=jql, file='comments.csv')

It gives me an error test user not found. Can someone please guide me how to extract all the change log with all the comments for the project/issues.
