I have a user developer who is building an integration with one of our other tools. They are using the API integration and are able to submit alerts which work and we have configured a Jira Service Management integration so the alerts we want will also generate an incident in our IT Service Management JSM project. The problem is the formatting of the "Description" field. OpsGenie requires HTML format and Jira Service Management requires markdown, so when OpsGenie creates the ticket in JSM, the description has raw HTML tags in it and no formatting. If the original alert uses markdown, OpsGenie doesn't render it.
Is there some way to make this work seamlessly?
