Hi All,
I am wanting to edit the field layout for the right panels on an issue page.
I've tried going to Project Settings > Service Requests > Issue View (which is same as when you click "Configure" bottom right on an issue page),
however the fields & field ordering on those pages are inconsistent with what is on the live issue page.
When I do add a new field in the "Context" section under "Issue View" and click Save, that field appears on the left panel (under "Description" panel), rather than under the "Details" panel on the right (which is where I want it to appear).
Any advice greatly appreciated. I'm relatively new to Jira so I'm sure there's a simple solution I'm missing.

@John Funk - a belated thank you for your reply. I think my problem was that I was looking at the incorrect request type. All good now

Welcome to the community.
If a field is added to the request type form (so visible in the portal for the customer), it will always appear in the "details" section.
Please also beware that the order of the fields can be set differently for each request type. So make sure you compare the issue with the correct request type of that issue.

Can you share some screenshots of what’s happening? I’ve never seen that before where the field shows up in the other section after you hit the save button.
