How to create a cascading dropdown using values from another field?

Ian Walker April 29, 2024

Hello Everyone.

I have a cascading drop-down field called Project that has categories inside it (e.g. Microsoft > MS365).

I want to create another cascading drop-down field, called 'Sub-category' that first gets the values of the category list that is tied to the Project custom field and then, based on that, displays the relevant sub-categories.

For example:

Project (Microsoft) > Category (MS365) > Sub-category (Excel)

Is this possible?

Regards.

It has limitation only till 2 levels. But it would be nice to have more levels if needed.
