Prior to Jira service desk premium bundling in the Insights asset management tool we had purchased and set up asset management to be tied to our service desk. Since the bundling we were forced to move our data base into the bundled version of insights - this worked fine. How ever the service desk is ted to the old version and outdated data bases and i cannot seem to get it to unlink and allow me to tie in the new built in version of Insights asset management. All the instructions i find on this say to uninstall the old asset management tool however the tool has been shut down and not listed on our Jira apps list for over a month now.
Have you contacted Support yet? support.atlassian.com. I believe they are assisting users with migrating from Mindville infrastructure to Atlassian infrastructure.
