How to change site url name ?

Hi all,

Just want to check your idea, can we change the URL name ? 

As now my JIRA url is pointing to https://aaa.atlassian.net/jira/servicedesk/ if I want to rename to https://bbb.atlassian.net/jira/servicedesk/ 

Without create a new project is it possible ?

Updating URLs is available for sites that have at least one Jira or Confluence product with a Standard, Premium, or Enterprise plan. Admins are unable to update the URL if the site has only Jira Free and Confluence Free.

Hi @wisanu wirojtecha ,

You cannot rename this yourself, the site name is chosen at creation.

You can either

• log a support call at https://support.atlassian.com/contact to see if Atlassian is willing to change it, they sometimes do this as a one of
• you can also create that new site (so the new name) and then backup your old one, restore it to the new one. (that's most likely also what atlassian will do in the backend)
