How to change priority values in prority dropdown?

We are using Next Gen Jira in Carlsberg. One of issue's fields - priority has drop down values that do not make sense. We want to limit the dropdown values to:

blocker

High

Medium

Low

Currently we have there:

Log in as a Jira admin, and go to Admin -> Issues -> Priorities

This controls all the available options for priority.  They will need to delete priorities from the list, swapping existing issues over to using the new list.

This will affect all of your projects, so it is not something that should be done lightly.  Your organisation appears to be using too many priorities (certainly for your project) and I would strongly recommend a shorter list (I'd rarely recommend more than 6), but you will need to get all the users to agree on the list for the whole organisation.
