How to add validation for checkbox custom field

We have a requirement like only on checking the checkbox of custom field, other multiple user picker field is to be enabled. How can we achieve this?

HI @Sandesh TM ,

 

You'll need an add-on for this to augment the behavior or to add dynamic fields based off a result of another field.

 

Look into the following add-ons:

  • Extension for Jira Service Management
  • ScriptRunner

@Benjamin How can we do without the add on? We have checked through a validator- Conditional Field Validator available in validators for transition in workflow configuration,  it is not working for check box but it is working for select list and radio button values.

@Sandesh TM - This situation is a bit different. Your scenario is that you want to validate the field in order of the transition can occur.
