Hey Guys, as far as I understand, it is not possible to sync my AD or AAD with JSM except if we get Atlassian Access, is that correct?
So if we have 200Users in our company, we have to pay for 200Access licenses?
And if we don't want that, our users have to sign up manually to JSM...
Thanks,
Gianluca
Hi @Gianluca Folla , welcome to the Atlassian Community!
You are correct, connection to an identity provider like AD or AAD is only possible via Atlassian Access.
However, Jira Service Management customers that submit tickets are not counted toward the Atlassian Access bill. Only Jira Service Management Agents that log in using an Atlassian Access managed account are counted in Atlassian Access.
Thanks for the anwser!
so if I have 12'000users in my AD that should be able to submit tickets, or that I simply want to be able to select as User in a ticket that our ServiceDesk Teams opens itself, I can either
a) invite them manually 1by1 (sure 12'000)
or
b) buy 12'000 (or is 1 enough for 1 connection?) Access licenses to be able to sync them.
Is that correct? Especially to know how many Access licenses I need would be important.
Thanks again! :)
