Hi Everyone,
I have a favor to ask. Currently i try to set-up a workflow where approval need to provide atleast a comment or change a field value in order to approve/decline request. Below here is screenshot of my workflow, so technically when the ticket go from Assessment to Risk Evaluation. The approval need to either put a comment or make change some value if capable from the portal side?
I know that the approval "Transitions used by the approval step skip transition screens" so cannot adding any screens to pop-up for approval to edit or change it.
How i can achieve this through workflows and automation in JSM?
Hi @Nguyến Wang , Welcome to the Community, we're glad you're here!
Unfortunately, this is not available out-of-the-box with JSM. There is a ticket open with Atlassian Support to add this, please vote for JSDCLOUD-6989, Ability to display screens on Approve/Deny Service Desk Transitions because this is really needed. Wish I had better news for you.
Hi @Susan Waldrip ,
Thank you for the respond! Does it have any work around for this practice? In more simple term that i only need the Approval to have action on the ticket rather than skip reading all of the infor and Approve without any acknowledgment on it

Hi @Nguyến Wang , there is no workaround or capability that I'm aware of that provides any capability other than Approve or Decline and related emails once the decision has been made by the Approver(s). I've also seen several tickets asking about this but nobody has a workaround, so people have been voting for that Atlassian support ticket in hopes they'll fix this problem. You can Watch a support ticket and get notifications when something is updated or posted to it, which is helpful to see the progress. Below, you can see I voted for this issue and I'm watching it (so I get notifications when it's changed).
