How to Unlock System Field In Jira Cloud?

Hello Team,

We have one system field named "Organizations" which is showing locked. How can we unlock the field?

Also, we need to add that field in the Issue security Group Custom Field values drop down.

How can we achieve this?

Hi @Jakeer 

"LOCKED" fields in Cloud are no adjustable.

These fields are integral parts of the application and some marketplace apps also provide locked custom fields. All LOCKED fields are for default functionality.

Hi @Jakeer 

Why would you like to unlock that field? To show/hide it or make it required/optional in the Field Configuration? Or for another reason?

Organizations are not a group, so it can't be a value of the 'Group custom field value'

What is the challenge/requirement for your specific use case?
