Sometimes users are getting multiple Jira notifications within one email as per attached. Is there any way to void this? I can't seem to find the right resources to guide me and see an open feature request to actually enable this bulk functionality.
In this scenario the impact is that the user only read the first notification and assumed everything below was old comms, therefore did not respond to the request in the second notification.
Hello @Tafara Mugwangi,
Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
When making several changes in a short period of time on a ticket, customers will receive all notifications at once, it’s not possible to disable that.
There is a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:

You can choose to deselect Send mail for this update option when you choose what to update for the issues. This avoids notification overload for everyone working on the issues being edited. Notifications, if sent, will likely go to anyone watching an affected issue.
