How to Remove Portals

We would like to completely disable the knowledge base that JSM automatically spun up for us. How do we do so? 

We have already unlinked the linked confluence space in Settings > Knowledge base, but a "Portal" still shows up.

Any guidance is appreciated!

I've answered my own question. Editing the layout of the page allows you to hide portals. 

If anyone sees this and knows how to hide the search bar on the same page, please let me know!
