Hello @Mar Angelo L. Tareno
Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
Allow me to share with you that, in Jira Service Management projects, each Request type has its own Instructions field. To update it, please follow these steps:
The Instructions will be displayed when creating a ticket using the Request type, as shown in the screenshots below:
Therefore, the Instructions will change based on the selected Request type when creating a ticket, whether through the customer portal or using the Create button (available for licensed users).
If you have any other questions regarding this matter, please let us know.
But I need it to add in automation so I can change on user choosing on custom single select.
If Custom field change
then edit Request type own instruction field.
But I can't add or find the Request type own instruction field on edit issue field.
Is there other way to onchange it upon selecting on custom field single select?

Hello Mar,
I would like to clarify a couple of points regarding the Instructions field and Automation rules:
Therefore, it isn't currently possible to use automation to modify the Instructions field when creating the ticket. In addition, since the Instructions field is tied to the Request type, it will only change when a different request type is selected by the user.
However, as a native option, you can use Forms under project settings in your service project to achieve a similar outcome. Form allows you to use conditional logic to display or hide fields and text based on the user's responses to a previous field.
To create a form, please follow the steps found in the document below:
You can see more details about how to make a section appear conditionally based on the data entered in a previous field in the following document:
More details about Forms can be found in this documentation:
