Hi @Santhosh,

See this support article to learn more about attachment limits. In short: on a standard plan the default maximum size for a single file is 1 GB. The total storage capacity of your standard JSM plan is 250 GB.

Hope this helps!

For example,
If we create a single ticket, how much it can allow ?
Is it 1GB maximum for one ticket or 250GB per ticket ?
Am confused with multiple responses

Hi @Santhosh,

Understandable. Tickets are not relevant here. The limit of 1 GB is a limit per attachment. The 250 GB limit is for your entire JSM product.

So, in short - people can theoretically add 10 files of 1 GB to a single ticket. But if all of your customers do that, you would have to upgrade to the premium plan after they created 25 tickets.

Hi @Santhosh , For Jira Software the Standard plan gives you 250G of storage while Premium is Unlimited. I believe the same applies to JSM. If so, you may want to consider Premium. Of course you can always upgrade later when you near the limit.

Hi @Santhosh ,

with a standard plan you have a storage of 250GB (limit per single attachment is a configurable parameter https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/configure-file-attachments/).

There are some apps into the marketplace...please take a look https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?hosting=cloud&product=jira&query=google%20drive

Hope this helps,

Fabio

Jira's maximum attachment capacity varies depending on your plan. To handle large files or multiple files, consider using plugins like "Attachment Checker for Jira" or integrating with platforms like SharePoint or Google Drive. These solutions enhance file management and scalability within Jira.
