Hi there,
I see some tickets have a little 'Signature' section under description and the signature has been stripped out from the description, works great.
Others are a jumble of images and tables stuck against the description and it bloats the whole ticket creation.
Is there a defined way that explains how Jira know when to pull out the signature, I am hoping to be able to offer the suggestion to some people to tweak their signatures and avoid the hugely bloated descriptions in their tickets coming in.
I have found when I 'inspect' the page the table that is created is this <div class="tableview-content-wrap"> == $0
this actually highlights the whole table except for some junk under is. Can I remove everything including and after that, somehow?
Thanks.
can this functionality "Use custom text to detect and hide signatures" have html parsing in the custom rule?
apparently you can.. solved it by pulling out some HTML.
