How do you set JSM project to private?

Justin Molina November 22, 2021

Looking to have only members of our HR service desk able to view the open tickets. Want to make sure all confidential information stays with the department.

Hi @Justin Molina and welcome to the Community!

Basically all you have to do is only add the people of your HR service desk to the Service Desk Team role of your project. As long as you don't add other people, nobody else will be able to see the tickets internally.

From the portal, by default customers can only see their own tickets and tickets that are shared explicitly with them.

Hope this helps!

You can use project roles

For Jira Service management, you can use the role dedicated to agents named "Service Desk Team" role.
