How do I create custom reports for my service desk items

I need to create specific reports which are different than the system delivered options.  Is there a way to do this?

You can use VisualScript for Jira.  We have a lot of built-in ITSM reports like health guages, sla reports, and problem timelines, and also the ability to create all kinds of charts and graphs.

FYI I am the Lead Solutions Architect for the product.

Hi Sherry, welcome to the Community. If you can create a single JQL query the reflects the output you need then you may be able to use a gadget on a dashboard. Can you elaborate on your ultimate goals?
