I need two things.
1. How can we set up our Jira Backup using Jira Automation rule ?
2. How to send our backed up data to another data center/Storage/cloud/sharepoint or another ?
Can we do it by Jira itself or do we need a add-on for it from apps ?
How can we automate the process ?
Hello @Santhosh Raj ,
As an alternative to the option @Sebastian Krzewiński wrote, you can try a third-party backup tool that can meet all the pain points you mentioned. For example, with GitProtect backup & Disaster Recovery software for Jira Cloud, Jira Service Management, and Jira Work Managament you can automate your backup policies, and keep your backup copies in diffrent storage locations - cloud or local. Moreover, it's possible to replicate your backed-up data to meet the 3-2-1 backup rule, for instance. Unlimited retention, ransomware protection, restore and Disaster Recovery features are some of the benefits of GitProtect backup & DR software.
You can try the backup solution for free for 14 days or free for up to 10 users on Atlassian Marketplace: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1228719/gitprotect-io-backups-for-jira-cloud?hosting=cloud&tab=overview
If you have any questions regarding GitProtect backups for Jira, you can always schedule a live demo and lean more: https://calendly.com/d/3s9-n9z-pgc/gitprotect-live-demo?month=2024-04
