Hello everyone.
Is there any way to highlight an issue status on the queue for example if I have issues with the status open they will be highlighted as Flagged work on Software Projects?
I'm not aware of a built-in feature for this (but of course happy to stand corrected).
One thing I could think of is to use Jira Automation to somehow "highlight" the issue; e.g., I could imagine a rule that writes a "🚨" emoji into a custom field, which you could then add to your queue table. A bit of a hack of course, but likely possible.
Another thing to consider is the Atlassian Marketplace; there's great apps available for (almost) everything. E.g., my team and I work on an app in which your use case might be trivial to solve: JXL for Jira.
For context, JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. It also comes with a number of advanced features, including support for (configurable) issue hierarchies, issue grouping by any issue field(s), sum-ups, or - as shown above - conditional formatting. Since JXL sheets can be powered by any JQL statement, and support all JSM fields, many of our customers use it as a "supercharged" addition or alternative to built-in queues.
Any questions just let me know,
Best,
Hannes
