Hi ALL, I am trying to make service request user friendly with limited custom fields. I am looking for a solution to set a default parent field and hide from user for a particular request type. User just need to select options in child list.
Different service request will have different default parent type (hidden) from same cascade list.
Please let me know if anyone overcome the above problem. Either it may be scripting or a plugin.
Thanks in advance,
Hi @Sai Seelam,

You cannot hide cascading fields on the request form, that would hide both the parent and the child.
Since you are on a Premium plan one option would be to use Assets and use the filter issue scope option, this would allow you to simulate a cascading field using Assets data. I haven't tried if you can hide the parent field using this but it might be worth a try.
