Is it possible to hide the comments section of the customer portal.
What I would like is to be able to allow a customer to create a request from the portal and see the default information (status, notifications, shared with, ect..) but I don't want them to be able to make or see the comments.
I can't find a place to customize the portal. Is it not possible to hide this section?

You can't hide the comment section of the request type in the portal and I don;t think that you can restrict them from adding comments.
Perhaps there is another solution you are seeking. E.g.
