Hide comments section of portal

Is it possible to hide the comments section of the customer portal.

What I would like is to be able to allow a customer to create a request from the portal and see the default information (status, notifications, shared with, ect..) but I don't want them to be able to make or see the comments.

I can't find a place to customize the portal. Is it not possible to hide this section?

Hi @Chandler Reeves (again :) )

You can't hide the comment section of the request type in the portal and I don;t think that you can restrict them from adding comments.

Perhaps there is another solution you are seeking. E.g.

  • You have your JSM project with your client
  • You clone/copy all requests to another JSW project, in which you chat freely with your devs and colleagues
  • Once you have define a strategy or solution to the customer's problem you reply via the JSM

Thanks for the reply. I was just wanting to confirm that it wasn't possible.
