Hi,
we are using Jira Service Management for technical product support.
First, we had configured it that users must create an Jira account to access it. One of our customers has Jira too (but it is separate from ours). I had granted him access but it was a grant of our whole Jira, not only the JSM portal. So I revoked that.
Now, if he tries the portal page, he can't login to it (because it has been revoked). To enable him to post support requests, I had to change the portal page to anonymous access. This works only if he is not logged into his own Jira account. So he has to log out and then he can post requests by specifying his email in the request from.
Question:
Is there a way to grant a user from another Jira access to the portal page only?
Thanks,
Andreas
Hi @Andreas Müller [SwiftMQ] , welcome to the community.
You want to Grant access to the site but only make him/her a Customer for the desired JSM project(s).
go to User management and check their status there.
