GMT time zone in SLA not showing correctly

Graham Jansen May 3, 2022

Good day,

I have set my SLA calendar according to GMT +2 Johannesburg (South Africa), but when a new ticket comes in the SLA time remaining shows GMT -5. Please assist.

Please see the image attached with the incorrect time zone.

This is my current setting in SLA Calendar

Hi, Graham, welcome to the community!

The calendar defined in the SLA configuration is only used to determine at what time the SLA will stop and continue, following the 8 - 17 setup you have based on the GMT+2.

The due date format displayed when you hover over the SLA is defined by your users profile setting.

An Admin should be able to define the default timezone for users on Admin > System > Settings > Default user time zone. I might be off on the menuing since I'm more of a Data Center JIra, but that should get you on the right path!
