Hi all,
I upgraded our plan to Cloud Premium, to be able to leverage the Jira Service Management component "Asset Management".
I was under the impression that it's a CMDB feature, where I would be able to fill out "anything I want" as a Configuration Item (CI), and create upstream and downstream dependencies.
In short, I'm looking for this:
Service A runs on kubernetes cluster B using public IP address C, which is provisioned in Cloud Region D of Cloud Provider subscription E, running on top of kubernetes Nodepools F, G and H, consisting of Nodes I through P. (I'm probably going to omit the Nodes, to fluid and counterintuitive to the nature of kubernetes).
However in "Asset and configuration management" I cannot for the life of me find an option to create a (functional) reference between two CIs and get a drilldown graph from the service down to the Nodepools?
I've checked the Jira Service Management feature "Services", but there I also cannot link a Service to an Asset, only to other services?
Really hoping to get this working, looking forward to your insights! :)
Kind regards,
Jimmy
