until recently the forms arrived expanded in the ticket, since a few weeks the agent always has to proactively click on the form to expand it and enter the "viewing" modus. Is there a way to keep the form expanded?

Atlassian has been asked to provide a way to control whether forms load expanded or minimized. See https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-10699. As with most preferences, some are asking for expanded to be the default, others want minimized to be the default.
It is a pain to have added a click to every Jira ticket now... just to see what is in the form. We had moved a bunch of fields there for the conditional sections not realizing it would cost every interaction a click.
And if we enable any features like "Similar Requests" the attached form gets pushed down the screen so users now need to scroll, then click for each ticket with forms.
