I am looking to add a variety of Customer Profile fields that can be populated administratively and only be viewed by Jira Admins, not the customer. How can this be achieved?
You can try Customer management feature available in service projects. It's a native solution. Just simply click Customers or Organizations in the left navigation in your project to find it.
If you need more advanced solution, I can recommend you to try our app called Customer & Organization Management. With this app you have possibility to collect information about customers as well as organizations, you can create as many fields as you need to collect this data (also we support many field types, not only text). This data can be provided by users depending on the permission which we have in our app but also by customers if you need it in the future.
Hi Kate - Thank you. I did try this, but I'm not seeing an option to change the fields. Could you share a video or screenshot on what I should see?
I was trying to follow the instructions here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Service-Management/Expand-Customer-Profile-fields-for-all-customers/qaq-p/2618141?utm_campaign=mentions_answer&utm_content=post&utm_medium=email&utm_source=atlcomm#M161775
When I open Customers, I see a list of Customers and Organizations, the option to add one or the other and delete.
