Just wondering if its possible if I have a custom field short text field in a ticket with a defined approver email for that reporter and when it comes to move the incident to the approval stage use automation to move the custom field value with the email and auto select the user from user picker custom field.
Since users or agents in a projects are invited via email, i was hoping its possible having an email as an identifier for the user for the custom field. I tried to do that but it seems to it doesn't seem to copy.

Welcome to the community. Are you using smart value syntax to locate the custom field value for your identifier to be copied into your user picker custom field?
