Hello dear JSM community,
we noticed that tables in forms are not editable for customers.
Moreover, in edit-mode symbols (like warning, info) are also displayed as errors. (However, this is beside the point)
Back to the main problem. This means that our customers do not have the possibility to customize user-defined fields via forms (these are regulated via an automation) afterwards.
Changing the renderer (wiki style to default and vice versa) unfortunately has no effect.
Does the problem exist in general, or is it a setting? I look forward to your thoughts and ideas.
P.S. In the attachment you can find the error messages in edit mode.

did you ever find a solution to this? Really wondering why we would bother putting a table in a form if the table can't be used.
I just chatted with support and got the answer to this. In order for the table to be filled out by a customer, each cell within the table also has to have a nested field. I used Short Text boxes for each, ymmv with other fields.
now that I understand it, it seems to be a pretty useful feature, but Atlassian could make it a wee bit more intuitive.
