Hi there,
Is there a way I can set up people can edit their own comments and "Automation for Jira" comments? I have used a manual trigger to put some default text in "Actions" feature but I need the user able to edit these comments afterward but without giving them access to edit all comments.
Is this possible?
Regards
MM
Hello @Mimi Peters
No, that is not possible with native Jira functionality. There is no Permission available in projects for that. Users can either edit only their own comments, or any comment.
Thanks Trudy, I discover I could have simply change the Actor in automation rule to "user who triggered the event" then my problem will be solved as they can then edit own comment and not need to edit the bot's comment :)
