Is it correct that JSM cloud has no native ability to make dynamic forms? From everything I am finding in the forums and online is that we would be required to buy a 3rd party app to allow us to use a functionality that is native to most of Jira's ITSM competitors?

Hi @Tom Cavanaugh

Welcome to the community.

You can actually create dynamic forms using the Forms option in the Administration panel. You create dynamic forms by adding sections to your forms and then configuring them to show/hide based on other field options configured.

Once the form is created, you assign the form to request types and issue types, and then you can add the form to your request type in the portal view.

Here are some additional links to help:

Adding Forms to Request Types in JSM - https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/add-a-form-to-the-portal-form-for-a-request-type/

I hope this helps
