I cannot seem to get my automation to send a direct message to a user (myself in this case) rather than a public message to a channel specified in the webhook.
Neither that works the way I would want (with a smart value) nor if I simply have my @SlackId put in there. I've checked with an audit log that I'm getting a proper SlackId in the Slack API response.
Any ideas on what might be wrong here? Perhaps there's a bug request open for this?
Ok, I figured this out myself and it was a Slack App's misconfiguration on my end.
@TJ Can you please put screenshot or steps for the solution which worked for you. It will be helpful for other users.
