Is there a way to disable the spoofing of the Service Desk outbound e-mail address with the customer's name/e-mail?
Ex: When Bob@newco.com comments on an issue, a notification is sent to all other customers from: "Bob@newco.com" <jira@mysupportportal.org>. Spam filters on customer sites are flagging the behavior as spoofing.

Hi James,
I would take a look at the post by Justin Freeman in JSDSERVER-702 and see if that helps. The workaround uses Postfix smtp_header_checks to rewrite the headers of outgoing email.
Cheers,
Branden
Thank you Branden.
I also found that if I manually updated the usernames to names (like 'Bob' instead of 'bob@newco.com') that the specific problem with spam filters is resolved.
However, with new customers being created all the time, this creates a bit of a user management burden.
