We use TFS4JIRA and need to create a custom field for a request type in Jira Service Desk which cannot be edited by an agent as it will be automatically filled by the synchronization tool TFS4JIRA.
We used a short text field but it can be edited by everyone who has the permission after the sync tool was running.
Is there a field type where editing is disabled once it has a value?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to configure a specific single field to be editable or not in Jira Cloud.
We understand how useful this functionality would be for some customers, so we created the following feature request to consider its implementation:
Allow a specific group of user to be able to edit only specific fields
Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.
