Is it possible to customize the Dev escalation view? I can't seem to add or filter on status which seems it should've been a common requirement?

If "Dev escalation view" is a Queue used by your team try to edit the Queue by adding into JQL : and status = (here you type the needed status)

Can you elaborate the use case a little more please?
Are you looking to filter all issues with the status of Escalated? Or issues that were previously in the escalation status?

Under this view, I'd like one of the filters to be the status but I can't seem to find where I can do this.
