Default Project, Type, and Form

Gayle Larson October 11, 2023

I am working to create a bug intake through Jira that our partner teams can use. I created the form, but when a user goes to the form they have to choose the Project, Type, and Form.

How do I create a default URL so the user does not have to choose those? My company has tons of projects to choose from and someone from a partner team would not know which one to pick.

If you go to the generic link for the form and then fill out the project, issue type and form you will see a info box that has the link with those values already filled out.

@Gayle Larson -

All you need is to select the project/issue type/select the form, then click on the "Copy Link" below to generated the actual direct URL to be giving out to your users...

Your initial URL that you copied from the FORM's "Settings" tab is just a generic URL.  I wish the UI is more enhanced to give you the additional functionality that you need to do manually  now as a work around.

Hope this helps.
