Hello,

I saw this in the Atlassian documentation: 

'Set up portal access in team-managed projects'. See screenshot.

I cannot find the project type that allows for a team-managed project and the option for a customer portal.

What type of project can I open that will allow for this?

You have to enable team-managed project for JSM first before you can create one, it is turned off by default. If you go to Settings > Products and under JSM click on Configuration you will see the slider to enable team-managed projects.

It was on. What project do I create under JSM that will give me the team-managed option? I cannot seem to select the correct template.

These 4 templates are company-managed only projects, the other templates are either both or team-managed only:

• Blank project for IT teams
• Blank project for Business teams
• IT service management
• Customer service management
