Custom Field just won't show up!

Dear Community,

I have been trying to simply add a custom field to one type of issue.

The field is called "Office Location", it's a select list (single choice) and should only be visible in the type of issue called "Request new user".

 

Now what I have tried : 

I have the correct screen selected.

I have the correct context selected (This field will be available on issues of any type in all projects)

I have checked the screens and saw that it is showing up and that it is beneath the correct tab. 

I have even compared it to a different field and everything seems to be the exact same

But when I go and try to create a new ticket. It does not appear.

 

Can anyone please help me out? Been loosing my head over this for 2 days now..

Hi @Vincent Luckmann,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Is the field on the request form for the request (project settings > request types)? Have you also checked the field configuration to make sure the field is not hidden?

It was the request type!!! I did not know about this setting and did'nt pull the Location button to the right position.

Thank you so much for your help celestial being. 

I will forever be in your debt.
